Easter bun, Typical Dulce de Arcos

In many towns in Spain there is a cuisine of the Easter. In Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz ) the typical product is the ” stamp “, a precise blend of ingredients, whose smell permeates many housing City and whose taste evokes Friday dawns, sometimes as only food of the penitent, to respect and stand vigil until the Nazarene take his last blessing.

    I make them in the most traditional,wood oven,in my own home,the aprendi de mi abuela,and after my madre.no know if my children will continue, tradition,the stay here.

      My grandmother and my mother also made in a wood oven, truth that are much richer.
